    With over 33-years of experience in the Leasing Industry, Ron has acquired a deep understanding of the financial industry and what it takes to build strong partnerships. He has held business development and middle/senior management roles with such notable organizations as: IBM Financial Services, GE Capital, Dell Financial Services and Key Equipment Finance.  He has also used his expertise to  conduct Asset Valuation Projects for mining operators.

     

    For over 13-years, The MEC Group has strictly focused on the Coal Mining Industry. His knowledge of mission critical, coal mining equipment and their application, provides Ron an unique understanding of mining operations, which few lenders pocess. 


    Since establishing The MEC Group , Ron has assisted mine operators with over $700MM of equipment financing.


    Prior to entering the Finance Industry, Ron was the Chief Paramedic for the Chicago Fire Department. As Chief, he was responsible for 680+ highly dedicated Paramedics, a $70MM Operating Budget and the day-to-day operations of the City's Emergency Medical Services.


    Ron received his BS  Degree from St. Norbert College and earned his MBA from, Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
